GETTING TO THE LOOKOUT 

On foot:

We’re situated within the Collective site at the top of Calton Hill. Steps lead up the hill from Waterloo Place (5 minutes) and Royal Terrace (8 minutes). Enter through the South or East Entrance of the City Observatory walls and follow the signs.

By car/taxi:

There’s no parking at the top of Calton Hill (except for Blue Badge holders) but cars and taxis can gain access for drop-offs and pick-ups. The access road is on Regent Road, close to the Royal High School.
The nearest pay & display car parking is on Regent Road or at the Q-Park Omni.

When ordering a taxi, please give the instruction to drive up Calton Hill via Regent Road.
